aleXsandro Palombo is a contemporary visionary Pop artist and activist, fashion designer, eclectic creative and illustrator, famous for his colourful, reflective and irreverent works that focus on Pop culture, fashion, society, diversity, ethics and human rights. He was born in southern Italy in 1973 and attended the fashion and design school Marangoni Institute in Milan.
The visionary art of aleXsandro Palombo comes to life in an atmosphere of freedom, both real and fictitious. His body of work sets the tone with titles asking questions such as “What Kind of Man Are You?” and “Do You Still Like Us?”, which observers answer and interpret the world documented, analyzed and painted by the artist. The artist carries an open dialogue with its protagonists, which become authentic mirrors of contemporary society, depicting anything from indifference to sick political and social disorder of our times. evil is discussed by the author with wonder, astonishment and irony, as in the case of “Coward”, “Stop Acid Attacks”, “I Can't Breathe”, “Stop Terrorism” and “Asterix and Obelix Against Terrorism” where the artist’s visual language and message transforms the audience into explorers of both fairy tales and reality.
